Not another blog for hipsters and scenesters - just a place for a few friends to talk about music, share finds and spout off with our opinions. Like we would if we were sitting at a bar instead scattered across the world.

Ivo,
I heard a story on BBC about how Mongollian young people are now starting to use Hip Hop to speak out against Chinese authority and influence. From what the story said, Hip Hop was not popular at all until the DJs and artists starting adding political content - now it's a craze. Interesting - it seems in the West getting political is a popular death sentence for musicians.
